This is a different kind of tour of the Fontanel Mansion. We picked the special option of first time ever offered night time tours for the month of October in which the mansion is decked out with all the spooks and spirits of Halloween. We chose this option because the tours were self guided and at your own pace instead of the regular guided tours within a group. Mom & I do not care for Halloween however, so the purpose of this tour is not that effect although you do see the mansion is decorated up for the "haunted feel." Mom was the one filming so she didn't zoom in on the spooks or spirits although you can't help but see some of the effects. While dad was enjoying the spooks effects, I hung out with my grandfather and explored the mansion with him while mom took care of the filming because we thought there maybe some more like us who were interested in seeing the mansion's design and layout of the place because it is the former home of country music singer Barbara Mandrell who with her husband and architect company designed what some believed to be the largest log "cabin" ever built.
